The Tree Farm development in Basalt, Colorado, blends community living, hospitality, and outdoor amenity space to create a vibrant mixed-use destination. Anchored by The Hoffman Hotel, part of the Tapestry Collection by Hilton, and featuring a range of residential options from multi-housing units to active adult communities, Tree Farm is designed to support an active, connected lifestyle for residents and visitors.

Lighting That Complements Place and Experience

Groupe Ragni North America, were selected to deliver exterior lighting that enhances safety, supports wayfinding, and reinforces the site’s organic design aesthetic. The lighting scope included EV charging zone lighting, hotel parking lot illumination, pathways around the lake, and condominium and apartment courtyards. The design intent focused on blending functional performance with visual harmony to support both daily use and evening activation of the site.

To answer this vision, Groupe Ragni North America provided a range of products chosen for both performance and aesthetic compatibility. Margo and Wave poles deliver balanced illumination across vehicular and pedestrian zones. Pot & Margo bollards provide comfortable, low-profile lighting along pathways and gathering spaces. Heritage fixtures with sublimated pole treatments were selected to help each lighting element integrate with the natural and architectural context of Basalt.

The outcome is a lighting scheme that supports clear sightlines, improves user comfort, and fosters a sense of place across diverse site elements.

Supporting Community, Connectivity, and Sustainability

Tree Farm is more than a collection of buildings. It brings together rental and for-sale housing, active adult living at The Terraces at Tree Farm, and hospitality offerings at The Hoffman Hotel, a 122-room, four-story property. The lighting design needed to span a variety of exterior conditions while maintaining a unified visual language that feels rooted in the landscape.

By working closely with the project team, Groupe Ragni North America delivered lighting that reflects an organic design approach without compromising performance. Light levels were tailored to balance safety and atmosphere, and each fixture type was selected with durability and long-term maintenance in mind.

A Welcoming Destination After Dark

The completed lighting package supports a welcoming environment throughout the Tree Farm development. EV charging areas and parking lots are clearly lit for safety and convenience. Pathways around the lake are gently illuminated to encourage evening strolls. Courtyards throughout the residential areas are energized with layers of light that support community gathering and everyday activity.

Groupe Ragni North America’s contribution to the Tree Farm project demonstrates how thoughtful exterior lighting enhances user experience and strengthens the identity of a mixed-use development.
