Our collaboration with the Naples Players theatre in Southwest Florida is a perfect example of this philosophy in action. The result was the delivery of a truly bespoke Lampion Glow luminaire that not only illuminates but also embodies the theatre’s identity and resilience.

A Theatre with a Legacy

The Naples Players has been a cornerstone of the cultural community in Naples since 1953. Known for their professional-quality productions, education programs, and community outreach, the theatre has long been a place where people gather to be inspired, entertained, and connected. In recent years, the organization underwent a major renovation, revitalizing its historic space and reimagining the visitor experience for a new generation.

When planning the renovation, it was essential that every design detail both honored the theatre’s storied past and looked forward to the future. The theatre’s entryway, as the first point of contact for audiences, needed to make an immediate impact. That’s where GROUPE RAGNI North America stepped in.

For this project, we developed a custom Lampion Glow fixture, specifically tailored to the Naples Players’ brand and architectural environment. The luminaire was personalized with the theatre’s name and logo, turning the fixture into more than just a source of light, it became a bold statement piece.

To achieve the perfect balance of aesthetics and practicality, we designed a custom swivel stem, giving the luminaire both flexibility and stability. This innovation allows the Lampion Glow to hang gracefully from the ceiling, with the adaptability to work across multiple settings, whether indoors or outdoors.

Designing for Florida comes with unique challenges. The state is well known for its hurricane seasons, and structures must be engineered to withstand extreme weather conditions. For this reason, the Lampion Glow supplied for Naples Players was built with a 180 MPH wind rating, ensuring resilience against even the harshest storm conditions. This feature underscores our commitment to designing fixtures that are not only beautiful but also dependable and durable in the environments they serve.

The finished installation goes far beyond functional lighting. It is a fusion of art, branding, and engineering a luminaire that highlights the Naples Players’ identity while standing strong against the elements.
